- You can do UUCP polls to port 540 of your server (if it supports that)
- using a properly configured telser ACU with uucico using a "dumb" pro-
- tocol such as 'e'. Blocked and error-correcting protocols tend to
- incur performance penalties when used on top of another protocol (TCP)
- that already does that.
